Its been 19 years since I returned to my hometown where I was born and grew up as a child. It often came into my mind as I completed each milestone throughout my life. I wondered how things would have changed, if anyone would remember me, and what it might feel like to see it again.
It was a blessing then to have the opportunity to visit my hometown earlier last year. Not only did I got to see it but I am especially grateful that I got to share this experience with the brothers I love. As I begin a new chapter it seemed fitting to give an homage to the place that I am from and give thanks to the one who has been with me all this time. I want to invite you to my hometown Gwachun and hope you can walk away blessed as well.

내 고향 과천을 떠나온지 어느듯 19년이 되었군요.
그동안 한시도 잊지못한 내가 태어난 곳 대한민국 경기도 과천.
지금은 어떻게 변해 있을까, 날 기억해주는 사람이 있을까, 내가 다녔던 학교가 그자리에 그대로 있을까,
한시도 잊지못했던 꿈에 그리던 그곳을 작년에 방문할 수 있었습니다.
저에게는 큰 축복이었고 특히 사랑하는 동료들과 함께 했기에 더욱 기뻤습니다.
저를 있게한 그곳과 그분을 위해 곡을 만들었습니다.
제 고향 과천으로 여러분을 초대합니다.
